How do amateur companies choose their plays? What influences your decisions? How do people with different talents and interests come together to put a play on stage? How is the repertoire chosen?  

In this part of the research we will be asking performers and people who work behind the scenes about the choice of repertoire, the casting, directing, choreography and the people who work back-stage. We're interested in the craft of performance, how people learn their craft, and how knowledge is passed on from one generation to another.
