Researching the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages Programme

As part of our research on collaborations between amateur and professional theatres, we have been researching the RSC's Open Stages Programme. Molly Flynn has visited many extraordinary amateur companies who participated, as well as observing workshops and rehearsals. We were interested in finding out what amateur and professional theatre-makers could learn from each other.
